   Architect Sjoerd Soeters

A team of domestic and foreign architects worked together under the leadership of Austrian architect and town planner Rob Krier and the Dutch architect Sjoerd Soeters.

Rob Krier was appointed master planner for the Resident in 1988. He laid down his vision for the whole area in 1989 and finalized this by 1991, in which year other architects from all over the world joined him.

The Dutch architects include Peter Drijver/Scala, Thon Karelse/Karelse van der Meer, Bert Dirrix, Gunnar Daan and CH & Partners. The foreign architects include Michael Graves (US), Cesar Pelli (US) and Adolfo Natalini (Italy).

The Resident is one of the many ambitious projects that form part of the 'New Centre for The Hague', the Netherlands.
