After graduating from Gymnasium B (pre-university education), Peter Drijver (1954) attended the Technische Hogeschool in Delft. Peter Drijver serves in such positions as member of the Advisory Board for The Hague City Centre Foundation and member of the Buildings Aesthetics Committee for the City Centre in the Municipality of Amsterdam. He was also a jury member for the 2002 Pierre Bayle Prize for Architecture Criticism.

Scala Architecten has designed schools, homes, shops and offices that have been built in such cities as The Hague, Amsterdam, Duivendrecht, Hoofddorp, Almere, Zwolle, Deventer, and Enschede.

The 'The Hague' touch to the project was given by Peter Drijver. The 48 apartments and shops of the Turfmarkt breath the atmosphere of The Hague, connecting the inner city wit Central Station. He is also responsible for the refurbishment of the MCMX-office, which will be transformed into office space.
