  Lucent Danstheater
In 1984 building this theatre, originally named Nederlands Danstheater, was an important stimulus for further urban renewal in the city centre of The Hague. It is the only theatre in the world which is specifically designed for dancing. The building is constructed out of three paralleled, functional levels: offices with studios, dancing studios and a theatre with a stage. The oval skybar is a remarkable feature in the foyer, which is situated in betweeen the dance theatre and the concert hall. The design was by Rem Koolhaas.

  The Spuitheater
This theatre consists of two small theatres, a video centre, a centre for expressive art, a restaurant, offices and flats. This concentration of cultural activities fits in the pursuit of the municipality to strengthen the vitality of the town centre. Architect H. Hertzberger was responsible for the design.
